“In providing the services offered, BOH&S Safety Solutions collect and process a substantial amount of information about your organisation and its employees.  Much of this information will be deemed “personal data” and “sensitive personal data” as defined in the Data Protection Act 1998.  BOH&S Safety Solutions pride themselves on their legislative compliance.  Part of this compliance is the registration with the Information Commissioner’s Office of the purposes for which we process data – the  “Notification”.  This is available on the Public Register of Data Controllers at www.ico.gov.uk

The company shares personal data with third parties as part of it’s contracted services and/or if required to do so by law.  This includes sharing information about employees with their employer if the contract requires it.  The company cannot accept liability for any processing conducted by third parties outside the remit of BOH&S Safety Solutions.

None of the above affects your rights of access to personal data we may hold on you.  If you wish, you may request a copy of these data – please do so in writing (email is acceptable).  Please note that we may charge an administrative fee of £10 which is payable in advance and non-refundable. Clients should be aware that we may be required to disclose data held on their clients under this legislation and we are not required to notify the client of these occurrences.”
